meet corie

corie brangers is the creator and designer behind sunblind the shop, based in louisville, ky.

with 25+ years of experience as an artist, corie began her art career by doing paintings and custom signage as a side hustle to support herself throughout college and grad school, but sunblind was officially born during the pandemic of 2020 after taking a break from her mental health counseling career and never turning back!

corie lives with her partner, john; their cat, murphy; and their two yorkies, melvin and arthur. when she's not working on art, you can find her at the local bar enjoying a beer or traveling as much as she can!

you can find corie's art at various shops in louisville and at different pop-up events around town. she also does commissions and custom orders!

although earrings are meant for all genders, sunblind wouldn't exist if it weren't for the powerful and strong women/femmes that got me here. proceeds from specific styles are regularly donated to planned parenthood and given to mutual aid organizations across louisville to support marginalized women and LGBTQ+ individuals.
